Open registration for the first International Webinar on Green Public Procurement

The project GreenS introduces the first International Webinar on Green Public Procurement

Riga Planning Region and the Riga municipal agency “Riga Energy Agency,” which are implementing the international project “Green public procurement supporters for innovative and sustainable institutional change” (GreenS) in Latvia, invite all interested parties on 14 September, 2016 to participate in the first international webinar of the project GreenS, which will be dedicated to a promotion of green public procurement implementation.

Each project partner is endowed with its own characteristic experience of green procurement implementation. However, in many cases, different countries face the same problems, but find different solutions. Every six months to ensure the transfer of knowledge on good practices and innovative solutions of green public procurement the international project GreenS will lead a five webinars, from which the first one will be dedicated to:

– The project comparative analysis carried out to determine state and local government needs on green public procurement and examples of good practice;

– Experience, best practices, problems in the implementation of the Cyprus National green public procurement strategy;

– Experience and good practice in Latvia, the implementation of the international project PRIMES activities.

The international webinar is an opportunity for local, regional authorities and national institutions, as well business entities or any person concerned in promoting green public procurement to participate. The registration for the webinar is available at prior till 12 September at:
