The 5th GreenS’ roundtable organized by ALESSCO and Calabria Region took place the 21th of March 2018 at the headquarter of ALESSCO.

Angelo Loiacono welcomes all participants and gives a brief presentation of the Agenda and the main objectives of the day. The President Loiacono, supported by Carmine Brescia the Director of ALESSCO,
Illustrates to participants (Associations of Categories) the willingness to give support to them in the frame of GreenS project and by the on-line catalogue and all the tools implemented in the project. Afterwards, Filippo Giglio takes the floor and highlights the main goal of the daily Roundtable:
– dialogue among SMEs and P.A., how to better know the market and the related scenario at To know and better study the market; – the scenario at regional level. To support and help SMEs, to drive the market towards more Green procurement, ALESSCO supports also SMEs, we want to better understand and Know the market
This 5th roundtable was held at Alessco’s office to face and discuss about the role of companies in the “green” market. The attendees were involved to debate around the role that companies should play in the GPP processes by Public Administrations. After discussing and once concluded the first part of the shared program, where association of categories for companies were informed how Public Administrations include environmental criteria in public tenders (also after the D.lgs 50/2016) and how this can open new ways of investments and competitiveness in the market. The discussion focused on how companies can be more efficient and innovative as they can more efficiently could match public administration’s expectations regarding greener products and/or services. CONFINDUSTRIA COSENZA, CONFARTIGIANATO, CNA, CONFAGRICOLTURA, CONFESERCENTI, CIA, CONFCOOPERATIVE, LEGACOOP briefly outlined their “idea” of work and strategy to develop in the field of sustainable energy.
